Namsadang is the first popular entertaining troupe consisting of professional performers in the late part of the Joseon Dynasty. Now there are 6 parts and 10 acrobatics performed including pungmul, eoreum(tightrope dancing), salpan(tangjaeju), deotboegi(mask dance), beona(spinning basins) and deolmi(puppet play).

Anseong Municipal Namsadang Baudeogi Pungmul Troupe was formed in an effort to hold up the tradition in Anseong, the home to namsadang.

We are trying to promote Korea's tradition through offering experience opportunities and performances and raise the awareness of Korea
