Anseong City, the home to namsadang, offers new opportunities for children to have first hand experiences using namsadang puppets and pungmul.

Learn through play!

What is deotboegi?
It is a traditional mask play as namsadang call it. It means "seeing with a mask on."

What is pungmul nori?
It involves 20 to 30 people playing gwangari, janggu, buk, jing, sogo and taepyeongso and singing jinpuri, mudong, bukgu nori and seonsori.
